Gas Contractor's New Licence Application

The undersigned hereby makes application, according to provisions of The Gas Licensing Act for a Gas Contractor's Licence.

At least one Gas Fitter, with the same class of licence (domestic or general) holding a valid Gas Fitter's Licence. A Gas Fitter's Licence shall not be used to entitle more than one person to either a Gas Fitter Contractor's Licence or a Gas Fitter Employer's Licence.

NOTE: If you are unsure of when your license expires, search here ‘Find a Licensed Contractor or Operator’. We can only renew your license if it expires within a few months. If you do not appear on the directory, you do not hold a valid licence.

Bond Information

All Gas-fitter Contractors are required to provide a guarantee bond in the penal sum of $10,000 to TSASK. (Such bond is available from any insurance company licensed in Saskatchewan.)

If the applicant is using a trading/business name, this name must appear on the Gas Fitter Contractor's guarantee bond.

Please have your insurance broker email a signed scan of the original bond to gelicensing@tsask.ca The base of the email must contain "The attached is a true copy of the original bond as issued"

Bonds

Instead of printing and mailing bonds, you can now send the bond electronically provided the following criteria is met:

E-bonds must be emailed from the issuing insurance agency to gelicensing@tsask.ca.
The email must have the following declaration in the body of the email: "The attached is a true copy of the original bond as issued.”
The email must include the name, address, phone number and email address of the broker and the surety company.

If you wish to mail in the original instead of sending in the EBOND please mail the signed ORIGINAL bond to TSASK 2202 2nd Ave. Regina, SK S4R 1K3
